Application for correcting the geometry of stereo images. It is specifically for the purpose of correction and processing! Therefore, the viewing modes here are implemented only those that are convenient for comparing the Left and Right views. For macOS 14+.

Working with StereoFix:
Source
Major image file formats are supported. The program automatically recognizes Left and Right views in one file or in two separate files. When you open one file, application will automatically recognize the Side-By-Side format or two images in one container. If the images are in two files, you can specify which one is the Left one.
Display
Here you can choose convenient display mode: Left-Right, Right-Left, Difference, Lighter, Darker. Guidelines can be enabled to help with alignment.
Move
Here you can adjust the vertical and horizontal offsets with pixel accuracy. From -599 to +599 on both axes.
It is also convenient to do this with a keyboard: WASD and ↑ ← ↓ → , or drag with the left mouse button. When using a mouse, hold down Q or E to change values only horizontally or only vertically.
Rotate
Here you can rotate the entire scene and each image relative to the other within a range from -1º to +1º.
You can also do this with the mouse: by dragging with the right mouse button you can rotate one image relative to another, and by dragging with the right mouse button with Shift pressed you can rotate the entire scene at once.
Scale
Here you can adjust the scale of one image relative to another in the range from 98% to 102%.
Perspective
Here you can correct vertical and horizontal perspective distortions.
You can also do this with the mouse: move the mouse horizontally by holding down the left button and Left or Right Shift.
Bottom
Here you can fix the bottom part of the image. This correction applies to either the Right or Left image. Two slightly different corrections:
1. Vertical camera movement errors
This is an ability to correct errors caused by moving the camera vertically when shooting. Typically it works this way: first you align your images based on the top parts of the scene, and then align the bottom of the scene by adjusting the vertical shift of the bottom left and right corners.
It is also convenient to do this with a keyboard: press L or R to select the Left or Right image, and adjust the shift of the left and right lower corners by moving the mouse vertically while holding down the left button and Control or Option (for the left and right corners, respectively).
2. Distance of the bottom part
When shooting a distant object from the surface of the earth, you caould get too large range of distances in the image caused by the flat earth below. In this case, you can reduce the depth to which the earth sticks out.
Crop
Here you can crop the final image, up to 50% from each edge.
Save
The result can be exported to a single file in the form Side-by-Side as Left-Right or Right-Left. You can select TIFF or JPEG format with compression settings. Export preserves the color profile and approximate color depth of the original. When exporting, the color depth is set to either 8 bits or 16 if the original was 10 or more. The original color profile is preserved. HDR is supported when exported and when viewed on a supported display.
