Previously, I was either busy or there were clouds. And this time, the sky turned out to be clear and in the evening I ran to Neapolis Scythian site (in Simferopol’, Cimea, Russia) to finally see the advertised comet. I waited until it was dark, but the sky turned out to be quite bright and therefore I did not see the comet with the naked eye. But I took a few shots with my iPhone in the right direction, on which I later found the comet at the place where it should be! 2024.10.23 19:00. I should did it 10 years ago. But better later than never. All this time I used Actions in Photoshop with noticeable amount of hand work and processing of my stereo pairs was very slowly. Now almost everything I did in Photoshop I put in this new app called StereoFix !! I made it as convenient as I could in work and it is really fast even with large images (on Intel and M* Macs). And it supports Display P3 and HDR – everything I like nowadays.
I made it about a year ago, a stand for it is ready now. I painted the whole airplane with brushes and varnished. The stand was I made from Leroy-Merlin’s tiles and standard accessories. 2024.02.25. Shot on iPhone 12 Pro, background cleared in Photoshop.
Noname tank from KiddiePlay. Surprisingly high-quality casting and with a little work with a scalpel and nail file it is assembled almost perfectly evenly. The wheels and tracks spin, the turret rotates, the cannon rises, and the hatch opens. I made the first version and gave it to the child to play with, and he was quickly able to break off the wheels and lose the tracks. It was decided not to use the second version for games and to build a stand for it. The tank was painted with an airbrush and parts with a brush and acrylic paints. I used an airbrush to cover it all with matte acrylic varnish. This was the first time I made a stand like this, I decided not to try something complicated, I tried real sand, pebbles and artificial vegetation, and secured everything with varnish.
