RAW2DNG – is my new app on the Mac App Store. The main reason for creating this app is my purchase of an SJCAM SJ8 Pro camera. It turned out that it can save photos in RAW, but RAW without any metadata. The quality of the matrix itself allows you to shoot very high-quality photos – excellent sharpness, minimal chromatic aberration, very good DR, very good noise (maybe better than iPhone X), but from-camera-JPEGs are pretty bad, unlike RAW. Plus this app supported a number of other cameras that also produces RAW without metadata. If you use one of those cameras – you can send me examples of RAW+JPEG – this will allow me to adjust (improve) the conversion parameters.
