There are some archeological ruins on the outskirts of the present-day Simferopol. This place now called Petrovsky rocks, and it is a good place to observe Simferopol’ from top. Here, underground, placed ancient greek city named Scythian Neapolis. Official website: http://neapolis-scythian.crimea.ua/english. This place has never been fully excavated. This days it is a large field with a small museum.
